ames DeGale faces Rogelio Medina in IBF super-middleweight title defence

Britain's James DeGale will look to defend his IBF super-middleweight title against Mexico's Rogelio Medina on Saturday in Washington DC.
It is the 30-year-old's second defence after he beat former champion Lucian Bute by a unanimous decision last year.
A win for the former Olympic champion would set up a potential unification bout with WBC title holder Badou Jack.
Sweden's Jack, who previously defeated Medina, will face Romanian-Canadian fighter Bute as the card's main event.
DeGale was originally due to fight Jose Uzcategui, but the Venezuelan pulled out because of illness in February.
That left Medina as the mandatory challenger and the 27-year-old heads into the fight with 36 wins from 42 fights.
DeGale has said he will give fellow Englishman Callum Smith, who stopped Hadillah Mohoumadi inside one round earlier this month, a shot at the title.
Unbeaten Smith is the mandatory challenger for the WBC belt, though Jack is likely to first face DeGale should both win this weekend.

Tour de Yorkshire: Danny van Poppel wins second stage

Dutch rider Danny van Poppel from Team Sky has won the second stage of the Tour de Yorkshire.
The 22-year-old sprinter crossed the line in Doncaster ahead of first-stage winner Dylan Groenewegen of LottoNL-Jumbo, who retains the overall lead.
Van Poppel's compatriot Kirsten Wild won the women's race earlier on Saturday over the same 136km route.
Elsewhere, Britain's Chris Froome of Team Sky earned a solo victory on the fourth stage of Tour de Romandie.
Van Poppel, who claimed his first victory since jointing Team Sky in the winter, picked up 10 bonus seconds with his bunch-finish win to elevate him to second in the general classification, six seconds behind Van Groenewegen.
Nikias Arndt (Giant-Alpecin) was third in the stage and is third overall, two seconds further back, with Chris Opie (ONE Pro Cycling) Britain's highest-place finisher in fourth.
ITV4's live coverage had to be abandoned because of technical issues that also meant only brief recorded highlights of the women's race could be shown.
The three-day race is in its second year and a legacy of Yorkshire's hosting of the Grand Depart of the 2014 Tour de France.
Sunday's final stage, a 198km route from Middlesbrough to Scarborough, contains six categorised climbs.

Froome fights back to win stage

In the Tour de Romandie, Froome began the day more than 17 minutes down on the general classification lead after a disappointing second stage, but showed the fighting qualities that have earned him two Tour de France titles.
In the company of Tejay van Garderen (BMC), he pulled away from the peloton with 40km to go as the race tackled the first of two steep ascents.
Froome then dropped Van Garderen three kilometres from the summit of the final climb and took no risks on the wet descent to win by four seconds from Ion Izagirre (Movistar).
Colombia's Nairo Quintana (Movistar) is the overall leader by 19 seconds from France's Thibaut Pinot (FDJ).

Gareth Bale goal against Real Sociedad
All of Gareth Bale's goals so far this season have come in La Liga
Gareth Bale headed in a late goal as Real Madrid won 1-0 at Real Sociedad to briefly go top of La Liga.
Real were again without the injured Cristiano Ronaldo, who also missed the goalless first leg of their Champions League semi-final at Manchester City.
Striker Karim Benzema was also absent but Bale filled the void with his 19th goal of the season.
Real play the return leg against City on Wednesday night.
Bale had missed a number of chances as Zinedine Zidane's side chased a 10th successive league win to keep the pressure on title rivals Atletico Madrid, who later beat Rayo Vallecano 1-0, and Barcelona, who went back to the top after beating Real Betis 2-0.
But the Wales international, 26, who scored twice as Real beat Rayo Vallecano a week earlier, enhanced Real's chances of a first title success since 2012 when he powerfully headed home a cross from Lucas Vazquez.

What they said

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane: "I am happy for him (Bale) because he has had problems this season with injury. But when he is fit you notice.
"We could have scored earlier in the first half, but we had to work until the end against a difficult side.
"I am happy with the performance and to get three points once again."
